ITINERARY
1. day: flight to Prague, transfer to hotel. Evening is yours to relax, so what about to try far-famed czech beer? You will not regret.
2. day: all day tour around the most important sights in Prague with professional guide
Our tour starts at Wenceslas square that was created within founding of the New Town by King Charles IV in 1348. Today it is dominated by the National Museum and statue of the national patron St Wenceslas from 1912. Wenceslas square is also related to the most important historic points like revolutionary upheavals of 1848, the creation of the new Czechoslovak Republic in 1918 and in 1989 the fall of communism was announced here.
Next stop is Little Quarter that is one of Prague's most historic regions. Nowadays it is a micture of historic buildings and touristy restaurants and shops. But it still has a strong charm, especially quarter with St Nicholas Church.
You can also enjoy the panoramatic view of the Prague Castle whose number of spires, towers and palaces dominate the city centre like in a fairy-tale. According to the Guinness World Records, it’s the largest ancient castle in the world: 570m long, an average of 128m wide and covering a total area bigger than seven football fields. Walk throught courts and listen to the stories about its history. After walking around the most iconic part of castle awaits for you - St Vitus Cathedral. This Gothic cathedral was founded in 1344 and the construction took nearly 600 years. Its impressive interior is home to such wonders as the beautifully decorated St. Wenceslas Chapel with the tomb of St Wenceslas, the crypt where Czech kings are buried, and the Crown Chamber, where the Crown Jewels are kept.
There is some time for having a lunch in a restaurant too. After a lunch bus will take you to an "island" surrounded with the Vltava and Čertovka river. This picturesque part of Little Quarter is called Kampa and it used to be a farmland. From here you will walk over Charles Bridge, the oldest bridge in Prague, built between 1357 and 1402. King Charles IV replaced old Judith Bridge that had been strongly damaged by flood. This new bridge originally called Stone or Prague Bridge was the only means how to cross the river Vltava until 1941.
Walk tour continues to Old Town and Jewish Town. Both quarters have a rich history you can feel all around. Just listen to your guide and imagine how it was to be live here few hundreds years ago. Then you will come to Old Town Square that is the oldest and maybe the most significant square in Prague. It has been Prague's principal public square since the 10th century and it still is the place where concerts, markets, political meetings and many other events are held. Here you can admire Old Town Hall with an unique Astronomical Clock. Be watchful, come here at the top of each hour and you will see a performance that takes only 45 seconds but brings all the fame to the clocks. Take some time and be observing, there is a lot of hidden meanings in an intriguing symbolism.

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is known as the city on the blue Danube, but today the main river is actually detached from the inner city and only the Danube Channel runs through the city. Vienna is still one of Europe’s most seductive cities, however, and is worth a visit not just for its incomparable cultural treasures, the pomp and elegance of former glory, but also for its traditional coffee houses. |

Esztergom is one of the oldest cities in Hungary. Approximately 150 years ago the cathedral was built within a period of 30 years. St Peter’s Cathedral in Rome was used as a model. At the inauguration, Franz Liszt conducted the “Graner Mass”. It is the largest and most beautiful cathedral in Hungary as well as the third largest cathedral in Europe. |

Budapest once consisted of three parts: Buda, Obuda and Pest. Buda meaning “oven” was the historical upper city with the castle. The part Obuda meaning “old oven” was the part between the hill and the Danube. And Pest on the left-hand side was where most of the population lived. In 1872, these three parts were combined to form a real centre. |
