Vienna gave birth to the world's most famous composers: Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven - all of whom were either born in the Austrian capital or lived here. Were they inspired by the Danube? Perhaps, given that the river has brought so many different cultures and ethnicities to the cities that lie on its banks. Vienna's imperial grandeur, Budapest's breathtaking examples of Hungarian Art Nouveau, and Bratislava's almost anarchic stylistic mix of socialism and baroque. And music is always in the air.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, the trips are available with English-speaking guides and the staff on board speaks English (mostly also German).
Vienna - Once you find yourself in Vienna for a few hours, you won't want to rush. You will want to visit countless cafes, where the traditional Viennese cafe culture still lives on today. And the rich history of the emperors, Sissi and the Habsburgs with their pompous lifestyle also contributes to the fascination of this city. Or you can listen to the sounds of Viennese classical music. The Austrian metropolis can also inspire on a culinary level: it is not for nothing that the famous Wiener Schnitzel and Sachertorte have established themselves almost all over the world.
Esztergom - once a famous city of Hungary, lies directly on the banks of the Danube and you can admire it directly from the river. The castle tower and the massive basilica form a stunning view, rising from the steep banks of the Danube. This view is worth a photo from the A-ROSA sun deck.
Budapest - Do you know how many bridges Budapest has? There are seven in total - and they span the river between the Buda and Pest districts. The most famous is probably the Szechenyi Chain Bridge. You will see the impressive buildings of Budapest with your own eyes as you cruise along the Danube. And if you go out to the sun deck, you will have an unobstructed view of the famous Budapest Parliament building. The perfect way to experience the breathtaking city!
SPA-ROSA: Everyone has a different way of relaxing: in their cabin, on the sunny terrace, while reading, walking, admiring the surroundings or visiting SPA-ROSA. What can you do but try them all!

Parking in Passau (Germany)
We recommend parking directly in Passau for our clients. Clients can make their own parking reservations, or we will be happy to help them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made with Globus Parkhaus. Reservations can be made in writing on www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to the ship and back, including luggage.
We recommend booking parking well in advance.

If you are driving on the A3 motorway, take the "Passau-Süd" exit. At the end of the motorway exit, continue on the road towards Passau. After about 2 kilometres through the Neuburg Forest, take the first possible left onto Messestrase. The entrance is marked "Gewerbegebiet Kohlbruck Messestrase". After 150 metres you will reach the Globus Parkhaus.
