The landscape in the south of France becomes particularly beautiful in summer, with lush meadows and intense fields of lavender revealing their beauty as you cruise the Rhône. Leave everyday life far behind and take this opportunity to relax and unwind amidst the magnificent scenery.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as the ship's newspaper, menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, excursions are available with English-speaking guides, and the on-board staff speaks English (usually German as well).
Enjoy culinary delights, be enchanted by breathtaking views of wild white horses or flamingos, lavender fields and enjoy a beautiful and peaceful holiday on board one of the luxury ships.
We set sail from Lyon, the absolute epitome of delicate gastronomy in France. It is also famous for the creation of cinema at the hands of the Lumiere brothers or for its historic district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The attractive city of Lyon certainly has a lot to offer visitors.
The first stop will be the town of Viviers, at the heart of which is a particularly impressive Renaissance building known as the House of the Chevaliers, with magnificent carvings on its facade. What is also guaranteed to enchant you is the view from the old part of town. Just behind St. Vincent's Cathedral, you can enjoy the view of the rooftops of the city, the surrounding hills and distant mountains, the Rhône River and the large statue of the Madonna standing on the hill above the city.
On board the boat, we will enjoy the beauty of the Rhône River until we reach the city of Arles, famous for the beauty of its women and in the works of Georges Bizet. Vincent van Gogh was also impressed by the local landscape and decorated his 'yellow house' here, creating a series of famous drawings of sunflowers.
We will also visit the city of Avignon, famous for its songs, where the stay of the popes in the Middle Ages left an indelible mark. Here we will find beautifully decorated palaces, ancient churches, chapels and monasteries. Take a moment to wander the ancient streets of Avignon, one of the most elegant of which is rue Joseph Vernet.

PARKING IN LYONS:
We will be happy to reserve a space for you to park your car at the Parkhaus Park Berthelot. The maximum dimensions of the car are 5.10 m x 1.90 m. A reservation in advance is required. You will receive exact maps in the pre-departure information.

Beverage package can be ordered separately for only 750 CZK per person/day:
This price includes high quality beverages throughout the day if you purchase the beverage package - tea, coffee and coffee specialties, water, soft drinks, beer and sparkling wine and a selection of wines, cocktails and long drinks, even outside of dining hours.
Please note that the beverage package can only be booked by all participants in the cabin. Children up to 15 years of age who have booked the BASIC fare will receive a 50% discount on the beverage package.
Suites, special A-ROSA cruises, A-ROSA packages and other benefits such as early booking discounts or free travel for children are not available on this fare.
