As of 2023, all cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as the ship's newspaper, menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, excursions are available with English-speaking guides and the on-board staff speaks English (mostly German as well).
We will begin and end the cruise in Cologne, proud of its Gothic St. Peter's Cathedral, which is famous throughout Europe. Among other things, you can visit the Chocolate Museum, where there is a chocolate fountain and a demonstration of the production of the finest quality chocolate.
On the second day we will dock in the famous capital and currently the largest city of the Netherlands , Amsterdam. It is considered to be the financial and cultural centre of the whole country, mainly due to the 177 different nationalities that live here. The historic centre of Amsterdam is built up mostly with houses from the 16th and 17th centuries, known in the Netherlands as the Golden Age.
No less interesting is Rotterdam, where we will spend the third day. It has been called the city of modern architecture - carpet bombing during World War II destroyed most of it, so it was and is being built up with modern high-rises. It is particularly famous for the local Europort complex, which is the second largest in the world and the first in Europe. There is also a Maritime Museum in the city centre, documenting the history of the port and shipbuilding.

The small beautiful town of Emmerich on the lower Lower Rhine gives you a nice time out on land during your cruise. Here you can take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the magnificent view of the Rhine while discovering the "Golden Gate Bridge of the Lower Rhine", a suspension bridge spanning over the Rhine, which, just like its role model, can be seen from afar in vibrant red. The official language on board is German. These all written information are available also in English, and partly in Italian, Spanish and French on our international cruise ships.
In addition, excursions are offered in several languages. On board selected cruises the A-ROSA international host looks after the concerns of our international guests.
