	Once the capital of Hungary, Esztergom sits right on the bank of the Danube and can be admired directly from the river. The castle tower and mighty basilica form an amazing sight, rising up from the steep bank of the Danube. This is a view you’ll definitely want to photograph during your Danube cruise. So, it’s a good thing that A-ROSA ships have such pleasant sun decks!

	Do you know how many bridges Budapest has? There are seven in total – and they span the river between the neighbourhoods Buda and Pest. The most well known is probably the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Take a look at Budapest’s imposing structures for yourself as you cruise down the Danube. 	Bratislava, home to approximately 450,000 inhabitants and located on the left bank of the Danube, is a young capital city – the youngest in Europe, in fact. Throughout the old town, you’ll see traces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire wherever you go. This leisurely city of baroque and rococo, palaces and palisades, and art and coffee houses is a perfect place to wander around, marvel at impressive sights, relax and unwind.

	Krems an der Donau is not far from the Austrian capital of Vienna. The city is part of the Wachau, a stretch of the Danube valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your Danube cruise will take you through Krems, passing through the Wachau on the way to and from Vienna.

	"Gateway to the Wachau": Step into the UNESCO World Heritage Site and admire the Danube valley from above. The town of Melk with its impressive Benedictine monastery sits majestically enthroned on a hill and offers you a breathtaking view. A perfect blend between city and nature.

VÝLETY - Poznejte krásy Dunaje s českým průvodcem a dopravou (průvodkyně Eva-Marianna Baxant)

Vaší cestou po Dunaji vás provede Eva-Marianna Baxant – je česko-rakouská, zkušená, certifikovaná průvodkyně žijící ve Vídni, která se stala známou tváří české komunity v Rakousku díky svému úsilí o propojování obou kultur.

Okružní jízda historickou Vídní sobota 03. 10. 2025 dopoledne (doba trvání výletu cca 3:30 hod.)

Na této prohlídce poznáte nejvýznamnější historické památky Vídně, Začíná se projížďkou po Ringstrasse s nádhernými budovami, jako je Státní opera, Muzeum umění a Přírodovědné muzeum, palác Hofburg, budova parlamentu, radnice, univerzita, burza a kolem četných paláců a památníků slavných skladatelů, básníků a umělců. Poté budeme pokračovat podél
Prateru s jeho slavným ruským kolem k Hundertwasserhaus, kostel sv. Karla a Vídeňské hudební společnosti. Jedna z vídeňských dominant je kvůli své poloze přístupná pouze pěšky – katedrála sv. Štěpána. Po krátké prohlídce exteriéru se vrátíme zpět na výletní loď.

Ostřihom (Esztergom) neděle 04. 10. 2025 dopoledne (výlet nenáročný na chůzi, doprava turistickým vláčkem, doba trvání výletu cca 1:30 - 2:00 hod.)

Během kratší zastávky lodi v maďarské Ostrihomi (Estergom), města položeného v ohybu Dunaje a sousedícího přes řeku se slovenským Štúrovem, si prohlédneme jeho monumentální klenot a srdeční záležitost Maďarů, jednu z největších a nejkrásnějších bazilik Evropy, baziliku Nanebevzetí Panny Marie a svatého Vojtěcha, která leží nad městem. Na vrcholku kopce budeme moci obdivovat tuto impozantní stavbu, jejíž kopule se tyčí do výšky 100 m, prohlédnout vnitřní prostory baziliky a vychutnat si výhled na řeku Dunaj a její okolí. Z přístavu k bazilice a zpět do přístavu, romantickými uličkami Ostrihomi, která byla osídlena již za dob Keltů a později i Římanů, nás dopraví turistický vláček.

Budapešť – staré město Budín a jeho památky, procházka Peští a vyhlášená tržnice pondělí 05. 10. 2025 (výlet autobusem s kratší pěší prohlídkou Budína a Pešti - zahrnuje dlažební kostky a schody, v trvání 4:00 - 5:00 hod.)

Vydejte se s námi na prohlídku Budapešti, proslulé nejen lázněmi s horkými prameny, ale i historickými budovami, chrámy, romantickými zákoutími a krásnými výhledy z vrcholku Hradního vrchu (Vár-hegy). Ráno po snídani vyrazíme autobusem do jedné z historických částí hlavního města Maďarska, kterou je čtvrť Budín. Přes nábřeží, okolo slavného Řetězového mostu, nás autobus vyveze až na Hradní vrch, kde se pěšky vydáme poznat její kouzlo. Okolo královského paláce, který momentálně prochází velkou rekonstrukcí, projdeme starobylou částí města s romantickými uličkami k Matyášovu chrámu a jednomu ze symbolů starého Budína, Rybářské baště (Hálászbástya), odkud uvidíme velkou část města jako na dlani v popředí s překrásnou budovou parlamentu. Z Budína nás autobus převeze do části Pešť, kde nás čeká krátká procházka po jedné z nejznámějších budapešťských ulic Váci. Společně dojdeme až k vyhlášené tržnici, kde vás čeká volný čas, abyste si mohli na místě vychutnat maďarské speciality nebo nakoupit typické maďarské produkty. Poté nás čeká již návrat na loď, nebo možnost individuálně zůstat v centru.

Cena zahrnuje dopravu, doprovod a výklad průvodce. V ceně je zahrnuta prohlídka exteriérů památek a spodní části Rybářské bašty. Vstupné do Matyášova chrámu (dospělí: cca 2 900 HUF) a prohlídka horních věží a panoramatických teras Rybářské bašty (dospělí: 1 500 HUF / dospělí) nejsou zahrnuty v ceně výletu.  V případě zájmu o návštěvu památky a dostupnosti vstupenky si hradí každý sám.

 

Bratislava - historické centrum města úterý 06. 10. 2025 (expresní dopravou na hrad a zpět pěšky historickým centrem, doba trvání výletu cca 2 hod.)

Bratislava City Express nás zaveze přímo k nejkrásnějšímu výhleduna Bratislavský hrad. Z 85 metrů vysoké plošiny je výhled daleko přes Dunaj. Své jméno město vděčí knížeti Vratislavovi, který komplex postavil v polovině 17. století. Marie Terezie se rozhodla hrad o sto let později přestavět, jak uvidíte při dnešní prohlídce. Po prohlídce hradu se vydáme pěšky do historického centra s renesančními domy a barokními paláci. Po prohlídce hradu prozkoumáme pěšky historické centrum s renesančními domy a barokními paláci.

Výlet do Dürnsteinu a kláštera Melk  středa 07. 10. 2025 (doba trvání výletu cca 4,5 hod.)

Hlavní památkou Dürnsteinu je kostel s modrobílou barokní věží a reliéfy utrpení Krista. Kolegiátní kostel vznikl ve 15. století jako augustiniánský klášter, později barokně přestavěný. Nad městem stojí pevnost z 12. století, kde byl vězněn Richard Lví srdce; dnes jsou z ní jen romantické ruiny. Pokračujete pak podél Dunaje k benediktinskému opatství Melk, jedné z nejkrásnějších barokních staveb Evropy, na 60m hřebeni s úchvatným výhledem na Dunaj a krajinu Wachau.

Součástí výletu jsou delší procházky, je vyžadována určitá základní úroveň fyzické zdatnosti.

Passau (Pasov) čtvrtek 01. 10. 2025 nebo pátek 08. 10. 2025

Před naloděním (nebo po vylodění) dle časových možností, nás čeká krátká procházka městem a zastávka u více než 800 let starého Veste Oberhaus, jednoho z největších dochovaných hradních komplexů v Evropě. Z vyhlídky Batterie Linde si budete moci vychutnat pohled na jedinečný soutok tří řek Dunaje, Innu a Ilzu, který tvoří přírodní podívanou tří různobarevných řek. Kromě toho se odtud nabízí výhled na pohádkové panorama města Pasova, od katedrály sv. Štěpána, kláštera Mariahilfe, radnice a historického starého města až po Rakousko a Bavorský les.
