And finally, as the cherry on top of a very successful Christmas cake on the Danube, a visit to the divine Melk Abbey.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials—such as menus, shipboard announcements, etc.—are in English. Similarly, excursions are available with English-speaking guides, and the crew on board speaks English (and usually German as well).
Melk - The Wachau region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies in the Danube Valley and enchants visitors with its beautiful landscape. And of course, you must not miss a visit to the Wachau’s dominant landmark, the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. Here, the towns and nature create a special harmony.
Vienna - Vienna has many wonderful places. At each one, Christmas markets are likely in full swing, enticing visitors with the scent of cinnamon, mulled wine, and sweet treats! Christmas music plays everywhere, and traditional handicrafts beckon you to shop in an imperial setting. And amidst all this lively excitement: it’s time to let yourself be carried away.
SPA-ROSA—Everyone has their own way of relaxing: in the sauna, on the sun deck, while reading, taking walks, or admiring the views. What else can you do but try it all!

Parking in Cologne
We recommend that clients park directly in Cologne. Clients can make their own parking reservations, or we’ll be happy to assist them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made through Globus Parkhaus. You can make a reservation online at www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on-site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to and from the ship, including luggage.
We recommend booking parking well in advance.
Covered parking: Prices are valid only for passenger cars. The price includes transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back.

The parking lot is located right off the A57 highway. Take exit 29 - Bickendorf and follow the signs to Bilderstöckchen. You can park your car on the day of departure anytime between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Starting around 2:15 PM, the Globus shuttle will take you from the parking lot to your ship.
We recommend arriving between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please note that the ship strictly adheres to its departure times. You will be informed of the exact transfer time on site. At the end of your stay, you will be informed of the departure time for the transfer from the ship to the parking lot.
