Only Antwerp is a real diamond city – but Amsterdam is also a real gem. Where else do you feel at home as a visitor? Where else do you find something crazy and cute on every corner? The ringing of bicycles mingles with the music pouring from the open windows – and the guests of the A-ROSA naturally join in with the locals’ life in the pubs and restaurants.

And between the cities? The wind blows in your face and brings an indescribable feeling of freedom. It’s all the more beautiful to see the old Dutch fishing villages with their picturesque stepped gables and colorful cutters.

PREMIUM - North Rhine Experience 2026 (AQUA)

All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, excursions are available with English-speaking guides and the staff on board speak English (mostly also German).

Antwerp - when your Rhine cruise arrives in Antwerp, you will quickly notice that this Flemish port is full of festive splendor. No wonder - it is here that diamonds have become a symbol of the city. Antwerp is one of the most important centers of the precious stone trade in the world, and their brilliance is literally born here during cutting and polishing. However, Antwerp itself is also a gem: from the deck of the ship you will have a wonderful view of a series of stately houses with ornate stepped gables.

Cologne - offers many sights, but the famous cathedral dominates everything. With its length of 144.5 meters and height of 157.38 meters, it is one of the tallest church buildings in the world. It is worth climbing the 533 steps of the south tower, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city, the Rhine and the surrounding area. Also worth seeing is St. Martin's Basilica - and right in front of it the colorful houses of the ancient fish market, which literally glow. This corner of the city, hidden away from the main hustle and bustle, has its own unique charm. During the carnival, Cologne comes alive with the song "Das Herz der Welt, das schlägt am Rhein" ("The heart of the world beats on the Rhine") - and after meeting the locals, you will definitely agree with this saying.

Rotterdam - the second largest city in the Netherlands. Home to the largest seaport on the continent, it is a thriving metropolis that does not skimp on modern buildings or international charm. A series of impressive new skyscrapers have risen here in the last 20 years - and there is no sign that this trend is about to stop.
