The Belgian diamond exchange, Beurs voor Diamanthandel, has windows facing north, as it is important to minimise sunlight when assessing the colour and clarity of stones. Antwerp is an old diamond trading city, but it also has a practical side, with the city’s most famous fries shop, Frituur N1, where Maria double-fries her truly delicious fries. Amsterdam’s gems include a diverse range of museums, sparkling canals and, above all, a relaxed multicultural society where every visitor immediately feels at home.
All cruises are international, i.e. that all materials such as the menu, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, tours are available with English-speaking guides and on-board staff speak English (mostly German as well).
Amsterdam - The Dutch capital offers visitors an abundance of contrasts on this cruise, often due to the fact that it has long been a city of migrants - from other EU countries, but also from Morocco, Turkey and Central Africa. Over the years, these newcomers brought their ideas and customs, creating a veritable melting pot of cultures. But even the city itself is full of contrasts, beautiful historic buildings stand next to new constructions, the traditional lower town differs from the elegant upper town, and great museums meet experimental projects in abandoned factory premises.
Antwerp - When your cruise stops in Antwerp, you'll immediately realize that this small Flemish port is no stranger to festive glitz. In fact, glitter was literally invented here: this traditional trading town is a major diamond center where the precious stones are polished until they sparkle like the stars in the sky. Antwerp itself is also a gem - from the boat you get a wonderful view of its stately houses with ornate gables.
Düsseldorf - the historic center of Düsseldorf is also known as the "longest bar in the world". Fresh Altbier beer is on tap in more than 300 pubs. Luxurious boulevards like "Kö" invite you to stroll, green parks and the beautiful Rhine promenade invite you to relax. If only there weren't so many museums!

Parking in Cologne
We recommend parking directly in Cologne. Clients can make their own parking reservations, or we will be happy to help them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made with Globus Parkhaus. Reservations can be made in writing on www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to the ship and back, including luggage.
We recommend booking parking well in advance.

How to get to the car park:
The car park is located right next to the A57 motorway. Take exit 29 - Bickendorf and follow the signs to Bilderstöckchen. You can park your car on the day of arrival anytime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Globus shuttle will take you from the car park to your ship from approximately 2:15 p.m.
Recommended arrival time is between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please note that the ship strictly adheres to the departure times. You will find out the exact transfer time on site. At the end of your stay, you will find out the departure time of the transfer from the ship to the car park.
