All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Likewise, the tours are available with English-speaking guides and the staff on board speak English (mostly also German).

 

Ghent - this old university city is bursting with energy. It is rich in cultural attractions and boasts a diverse nightlife with impressive architectural monuments as a backdrop. During the "Gentse Feesten" - a ten-day festival of street performances, music and culture that takes place every July in the city center - these magnificent buildings really stand out, illuminated by light installations. It is truly a magnificent sight.

 

Brussels - the capital of Belgium and also the seat of the European Union. A number of unique monuments await you - including the famous charming little boy Manneken Pis. And while you are in Brussels, be sure to taste the many Belgian specialties that this city has to offer - or buy some Belgian chocolate as a gift for your loved ones.

 

Cologne - there are many attractions to see and they are all overshadowed by the cathedral, which is 144.5 meters long and 157.38 meters high, the third largest church building in the world. The view of Cologne is definitely worth the effort of climbing the 533 steps of the church tower. The Basilica of St. Martin is another fantastic sight. In front of it, the brightly colored houses of the Cologne fish market seem to glow. Thanks to its location away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the old town here.

We recommend parking directly in Cologne. Clients can make their own parking reservations, or we will be happy to help them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made with Globus Parkhaus. Reservations can be made in writing on www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to the ship and back, including luggage.

How to get to the car park:

The car park is located right next to the A57 motorway. Take exit 29 - Bickendorf and follow the signs to Bilderstöckchen. You can park your car on the day of arrival anytime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Globus shuttle will take you from the car park to your ship from approximately 2:15 p.m.

Recommended arrival time is between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please note that the ship strictly adheres to the departure times. You will find out the exact transfer time on site. At the end of your stay, you will find out the departure time of the transfer from the ship to the car park.

It might be a bit of a trek up to the top of the tower, but it’s worth it. You’ll be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the city and the Rhine spread out before you.

		The former Dutch fortress of Willemstad is a tranquil little village with a delightful harbor. And of course, a typical dutch town like this can't lack a windmill! During a walk through the quiet town you will surely discover one.

Along the canals, cosy cafés and small boutiques invite you to linger and exude a typical Dutch atmosphere. Culture lovers can learn more about the region's history at the Zeeuws Museum. Middelburg is an ideal destination for anyone wishing to combine rich history, architectural splendour and a relaxed atmosphere.

		Welcome to the largest fortified town in the Netherlands. In Gorinchem, you don't have to look far to find the town's history, as the former fortifications have been preserved almost in their entirety. A special footpath now leads over the ramparts and promises wonderful vistas. On the 'Langendijk', Gorinchem's most beautiful shopping street, you can experience a great mix of old and new, with modern shops in a historic setting.

		The small beautiful town of Emmerich on the lower Lower Rhine gives you a nice time out on land during your cruise. Here you can take a stroll along the promenade and enjoy the magnificent view of the Rhine while discovering the "Golden Gate Bridge of the Lower Rhine", a suspension bridge spanning over the Rhine, which, just like its role model, can be seen from afar in vibrant red. Definitely worth taking a souvenir photo!
