In Nijmegen, you’ll discover historic squares, Roman ruins, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. A journey that offers the perfect balance between energy and tranquility.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials—such as menus, public announcements, etc.—are in English. Similarly, tours are available with English-speaking guides, and the onboard staff speaks English (and usually German as well).
Amsterdam - few European cities are as diverse as Amsterdam, with its charm, historic canal district, and the world’s highest concentration of museums. Don’t miss the Rijksmuseum, which was restored to its former glory a few years ago after a decade-long renovation. Follow the locals’ lead and explore the city by bike or take a canal cruise. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Nemo Science Museum, where they can blow giant bubbles, make licorice, and learn why water is clear.
Rotterdam - the second-largest city in the Netherlands. Home to the continent’s largest seaport, this thriving metropolis spares no expense on modern architecture or charm. Over the past 20 years, a number of impressive new skyscrapers have sprung up here—and there’s no sign that this trend is slowing down.
Nijmegen - The Romans were aware of the Rhine’s ideal location as early as 2,000 years ago, when they founded the oldest city in the Netherlands. Today, the cityscape of this Hanseatic city is characterized not only by historical monuments from that era but also by its large student population. Nijmegen’s vibrancy can also be experienced at one of the city’s many beaches in a unique setting.
