The Advent cruise on the Danube and Main offers a magical opportunity to experience the festive atmosphere in historic cities. We start in medieval Nuremberg, where the famous Christkindlesmarkt bathes the old town in magical light. Stroll among the decorated stalls and enjoy mulled wine and, of course, gingerbread. The cruise continues to Regensburg, where the romantic Christmas market at Thurn & Taxis Castle enchants visitors with its medieval streets and illuminated old town. On the way to Kulheim, you can enjoy the picturesque landscape along the Danube. In Kelheim, we immerse ourselves in the pre-Christmas atmosphere of the Christmas market and you can enjoy local specialties.

All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Tours are also available with English-speaking guides and the staff on board speak English (mostly German).

Regensburg - In Regensburg, you can explore the fascinating sights of this medieval city, starting with the majestic Stone Bridge, which crosses the Danube and is an impressive example of medieval engineering. Stroll through the streets of the old town and at Christmas time, experience the Christmas atmosphere of the Neupfarrplatz, where the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds wafts through the air. The impressive cathedral and the historic town hall with its beautiful carillon shine especially brightly at Christmas!

 

Kelheim - is a city with a wealth of sights and an idyllic atmosphere. Here you can explore the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings, starting with the Danube Gorge, where the mighty rocks of the Weltenburg Mountains rise above the river and provide a spectacular backdrop. Visit the Kelheim Liberation Hall, a monumental building on the Michelsberg that commemorates the wars against Napoleon and offers a breathtaking view of the city and the Danube Valley.
