Visitors who stop in Belgrade will be able to smell the scent of peach trees and wood smoke on their way to the imposing fortress. You’ll be able to try a pljeskavica, a type of burger served with cream cheese and a flatbread. Vienna offers the Prater—here you’ll find an endless array of charming and innovative shops, cafés, and museums. Plus, the Carpathians aren’t far away. But first, you must pass through the “Iron Gate.” A 40-meter-high portrait carved into the cliff of the king who ruled here until 106 AD stares at you disapprovingly. Dark blue water flows through the sheer cliffs of this massive canyon, taking the breath away from many visitors. The mild climate of this region allows for the cultivation of sun-drenched grapes used to produce excellent wines. This site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials—such as the menu, public announcements, etc.—are in English. Similarly, tours are available with English-speaking guides, and the crew on board speaks English (and usually German as well).
Vienna – Once you settle in Vienna for a few hours, you won’t want to rush. Countless cafés await you, where traditional Viennese café culture still thrives today. The rich history of the emperors, Sisi, and the Habsburgs, with their lavish lifestyle, contributes to the city’s unique atmosphere. You can also listen to the sounds of classical music, which is an integral part of Vienna. And don’t forget the culinary experiences—it’s no wonder that the famous Viennese schnitzel and Sachertorte have gained worldwide fame.
Budapest – On one bank of the Danube lies the hilly Buda with the Fisherman’s Bastion and Castle Hill; on the other, the flat Pest with its monumental Parliament building. These two distinct parts, so different from one another, were not united until 1873, giving rise to Budapest as we know it today.
Bratislava – right on the border with Austria and Hungary, on the southwestern border of Slovakia, lies Bratislava, the country’s largest city. Traces of the Austro-Hungarian dual monarchy are omnipresent here. A peaceful life amid Baroque and Rococo, palaces, ramparts, art, and cafés.

We recommend that customers park directly in Passau. Customers can make their own parking reservations, or we’ll be happy to assist them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made through Globus Parkhaus. You can make a reservation online at www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to and from the ship, including luggage. We recommend booking parking well in advance.
