Arriving in Amsterdam by boat, you’ll immediately feel at home in this city on the water, with its rings of canals lined with old department stores. And renting a “fiets” (bicycle) to travel from the Old Dutch Masters to the Waterlooplein flea market is the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere. In Rotterdam, Amsterdam’s modern sister, you’ll start to doubt your senses when you see the cube-shaped houses leaning on one corner or when you look up and see giant raspberries painted on the ceiling. But the sight of the world’s third largest port will bring you back down to earth. In small but beautiful Nijmegen, you’ll find beautiful parks, a carefully curated bicycle museum and a museum that you visit in total darkness: the muZIEum offers a different kind of sensory experience.
All cruises are international, meaning that all materials such as menus, radio announcements, etc. are in English. Tours are also available with English-speaking guides and the staff on board speak English (mostly German).
Amsterdam - Few European cities are as diverse as Amsterdam, with its multicultural charm, historic canal district and the highest concentration of museums in the world. Don't miss the Rijksmuseum, which was restored to its original glory a few years ago after a decade-long renovation. Follow the locals and explore the city by bike, or take a canal cruise to discover Amsterdam from the water. Children of all ages will enjoy the NEMO Science Museum, where they can make bubbles big enough to fit inside, make licorice and learn why the water is transparent.
NDSM Shipyard Amsterdam - You've probably never heard of Amsterdam's NDSM, but it's a great place - especially for art lovers. Once a place where ships of all sizes were built and launched, today it's a hub for young artists and visionaries. Disused trams provide a space for creatives, and there's even an old crane that's been converted into a hotel. Locals have revived the once-dreary area with graffiti and street art, creating a haven for budding photographers. It's free to visit and you can get there by taking a free ferry from the opposite bank of Amsterdam Central Station.
Rotterdam - The second largest city in the Netherlands. Home to the continent's largest seaport, it's a thriving metropolis that's brimming with modern buildings and international charm. A series of impressive new skyscrapers have gone up in the last 20 years - and there's no sign of that trend stopping.

Parking in Cologne
We recommend parking directly in Cologne. Clients can make their own parking reservations, or we will be happy to help them with the reservation free of charge. Reservations are made with Globus Parkhaus. Reservations can be made in writing on www.globus-group.de. Payment is made on site in cash or by EC card. The price includes a bus transfer to the ship and back, including luggage.
We recommend booking parking well in advance.

How to get to the car park:
The car park is located right next to the A57 motorway. Take exit 29 - Bickendorf and follow the signs to Bilderstöckchen. You can park your car on the day of arrival anytime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Globus shuttle will take you from the car park to your ship from approximately 2:15 p.m.
Recommended arrival time is between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Please note that the ship strictly adheres to the departure times. You will find out the exact transfer time on site. At the end of your stay, you will find out the departure time of the transfer from the ship to the car park.
